  • Uses special additives: Reduces the effects of UV (Ultra Violet) on pipes over a long period of time.
  • Resistant to chemical contamination.
  • Can be used for various types of clean water and wastewater systems.
  • Made of uPVC, a thermoplastic that is recyclable.
  • A variety of fittings/connections: Ensures a secure installation within a single system.
  • Durable: Rust-resistant and maintenance-free.
  • Includes a good insulator.

Quality Standards:
Rucika Standard is manufactured in a factory with ISO 9001:2015 certification and its products meet JIS and ISO standards.

Product Tiers:
Rucika Standard can be classified into 2 (two):

  • Class AW, for high pressure water up to a working pressure of 10 Bar with 14 different diameter sizes from ½ inch to 12 inch.
  • Class D, for drainage and waste with 11 different diameter sizes from 1 ¼ inch to 12 inches.

Both groups are available in standard lengths up to 4 meters.

2. RUCIKA PVC PIPE JIS K-6741 / K-6742

Rucika tipe JIS K-6741/K-6742 PVC Pipes is a type of pipe specifically designed for water supply applications. The following is a product description for Rucika PVC pipe, type VP, in sizes of 4 meters per rod and 5.8 meters per rod.

Materials:
VP type PVC pipes are made from corrosion-resistant, strong polyvinyl chloride (PVC), suitable for conveying pressurized water. PVC is resistant to many chemicals, making it suitable for use in wastewater pipes.

Size:
JIS K-6741/K-6742 PVC pipes are available in two lengths: 4 meters per rod and 5.8 meters per rod. These pipe lengths can be customized to suit your project needs.

Application:
This VP type PVC pipe is specifically used for pressurized water lines in various applications, such as sanitary piping installations, domestic waste disposal, and there's also the VU type for drainage systems. It's commonly used in commercial buildings, residential homes, and infrastructure projects.

Advantages:

  • Corrosion Resistance: JIS-type PVC is corrosion-resistant, giving it a long service life.
  • Ease of Installation: PVC pipes can be connected using fittings and PVC glue specifically designed for this type of pipe, making installation relatively easy.
  • Lightweight: PVC is lighter than metal pipes, making it easier to transport and install.
  • Pressure Resistance: VU-type PVC pipes are designed to withstand wastewater pressure well.
  • Maintenance: PVC pipes generally require minimal maintenance. Check for leaks and wear periodically.

PVC Rucika JIS is a PVC pipe that meets Japanese standards, namely the Japan Industrial Standard, namely JIS K 6741:2007 for class D/VU for non-pressurized wastewater and JIS K 6742:2007 for class AW/VP for clean water with a pressure of 10 bar.

JIS PVC pipes can last up to 50 years if installed according to manufacturer recommendations, which include pressure resistance (bar), correct water flow temperature, and several other factors. Especially for outdoor use, JIS PVC pipes require a protective coating due to the nature of plastic, which can become brittle and deform when exposed to UV light. Recommended protection includes pipe insulation or a protective roof covering.
